If you’re looking for experienced, professional blonde hair specialists on the Sunshine Coast, you’ve come to the right place…
Here at Ms Monaco Hair Society, we love blondes! We’re passionate about creating that perfect shade of blonde for you, and have extensive experience in all of the latest trends and techniques for blonde hair.
Foilyage – similar to balayage – is a technique where colour is painted onto the hair, with each section wrapped in foils. The foil seals in the heat, which helps lighten the hair and allows for even processing.
There are no rules with foilyage when it comes to colour – we can beautifully accent your shade with complimentary colours of pinks, pearls, golds and silvers.
Balayage is a free hand technique where colour is hand painted onto the hair – no foil or meche is used. This technique has much softer, less noticeable regrowth lines than traditional highlights.
Balayage can be applied to even the shortest pixie crop, however the best results is in hair below the shoulders.
Ombre is typically a two toned colour – starting darker at the roots and lightening in colour as it reaches the ends, creating a ‘shadowy’ effect. While perfect for blondes, ombre is very versatile and can be used with any colour combination.
Since the haircolor placement is not strict but done gradually, ombre provides a low maintenance but striking hair colour.
Shadow Root is the new highlighting trend perfect for blondes who are looking for a low maintenance colour. Ideal for the summer season, a shadow root makes fearing dark roots a thing of the past.
The shadow root technique allows either your natural root shade to shine through as part of your overall color, or roots of a different shade can be created and blended.
Once again, the Ombre hair trend is evolving; this time coming in hot with a more diffused look known as colour melting. This technique softens sharp edges and eliminates that dreaded line of demarcation that can happen when dip-dying using different colours.
Whether you’re getting lowlights, highlights or a new global hair colour, a colour melt is all about that flawless melted effect.
